Threading Metric Threads on Mazak T32

What is the proper way to program a metric thread on Maza T32 machine?
Do you just type in the number of threads or is there a formula you have to use?

lets say you have an M8x1.5 thread. Take the 1.5 and divide by 25.4 which equals 0.05906. This is your lead. Mazatrol will figure out thread height and I would start the thread in "X" axis at or a bit above your turned diameter.

I do it the same way as TDS, just convert the lead to inch and let it rip.
