    VMC 15 XT won't edit program

    We have a Fadal VMC 15-XT with a 88HS control. We are not able to edit programs on the machine. We checked the keylock switch and it is good. Any time we need to edit a program, we have to do it on the PC and then send it back over to the machine. The function of the machine is good, but nobody wants to use it as it is a bear to setup.
    I am told that there is a parameter that will unlock the machine, but the ability to go into the parameters is locked out as well. Is there an unlock code we can use to fix this?

    I'm told it's been this way for years. I just started here and I'd like to use the machine with editing enabled.

    Check the wiring to the keylock switch. It may have been disconnected at some time...

    It is a combination of the Keylock (which you said is good) and the CL command SETP goes to the parameters
