    Wiring steppers in bipolar parallel

I have 8-wire 425oz-in stepper motors from keling inc and I need to wire them in bipolar parallel for my router. I have never wired up motors before, and am very nervous when i have the risk of wrecking my driver and motors if i mess up. I was hoping that someone could either send me some pictures of their steppers wired like this or give me a dumby-proof explanation of how to go about this. I have a link to kelings diagram,

but I guess I am still very nervous. I would appreciate any information anyone could give me. thanks

On the motor there are 4 solid colored wires, red, blue, green, and black as well as 4 striped wires, red/white, blue/white, green/white, and black/white. I am not sure but it looks like all I need to do is wire the blue/white and the red/white wires together as the coil start and the solid blue and red wires togeter as the end of the coil. Then do the same with the other wires leaving me with 4 connections to hook to my driver. Is this correct? Thanks!

    Howdy,

I'm a newbie, but I've been doing allot of reading. Here's a good source:
    http://www.geckodrive.com/photos/Step_motor_basics.pdf
Allot of info on steppers including wiring of 4,6, and 8 wire steppers (parallel and series)

I won't be testing mine until Thursday or Friday night but, here's how I wired mine.

    Join Blue/White wire with Red/White wire (A)

Join Blue wire with Red wire (A/)

Join Green wire with Black wire (B)

    Join Green/White wire with Black/White wire (B/)

    Good Luck,

    Jack
