EMO Preview: Exhibitors face-to-face with the press
The EMO Hannover 2017 is little more than a month away - the right time to take a brief look back in anticipation. We, the VDW and the Deutsche Messe AG, have put a lot of effort into generating the attention the world's leading trade fair for metalworking deserves.
From the EMO World Tour, which excited press representatives, exhibitors, (potential) visitors, as well as representatives of associations and the industry in Europe and abroad for the event in September, to the trade fair preview on 21 June. Around 40 exhibitors had the opportunity to present themselves to numerous national and international journalists, be it at their stand or via on-stage elevator pitches. For many an unfamiliar situation: deliver your message in just 120 seconds, a little different from the usual presentations in the investment goods industry. But our exhibitors have done well. Talks with the invited press were intense. Exhibitors and journalists established many new contacts.
The journalists received the event exceptionally well, the preview underlined the trade fair's importance.
