EMO World Tour: At the heart of Spanish industry
The EMO World Tour also visited the Spanish industrial center Bilbao to promote the trade fair in Hanover. And this is likely knock on an open door, as industrial production in Spain is on a slow road to recovery, being expected to rise by 2.5 percent in 2017.
In addition to an improved financial situation for companies, the easier access to favorable long-term loans is also responsible for the positive development: the Spanish state wants to promote industrial competitiveness. Investments are being made in machinery and equipment as well as digitization. Aircraft construction and manufacturers of metal products are to invest particularly heavily. Accordingly, tooling consumption in 2017 rose by 5.8 per cent, which Spain imports to 80 per cent. Accordingly, visiting the EMO Hannover is relevant for Spanish users in order to get in touch with international suppliers.
But also Spanish manufacturers appreciate the show, for example Javier San Miguel from the Danobat Group. According to him, the EMO Hannover is the most important trade fair for the company since it is possible to meet customers from all over the world, especially from the most important markets.
