Without going through 530 pages, and although there is some cool stuff you guys are sharing, and I will use, I am looking for 1911 grip DXF file if there are any. Mine has some very nice plastic grips and I have some tiger maple that is screaming my name. Thanks.
here is the short list
hope this helps

Hey everyone,
I've had another member bring up a good point that I really didn't think about.
Anytime we upload files it would be a good idea to label the file "router" or "plasma".
I know I'm guilty as all get out, about not adding a simple label.
All the plasma guys/gals know what I'm talking about, from parts falling out.
So, I'll start adding the label to any future files I post, hope it helps.

Sorry for the delayed answer guy's I've been gone for awhile. Tweakie it is a polished high brass shell base. Switcher the base is a piece of scrap aluminum we had laying around. Hence the holes in it.

Can anyone help with this Farmall Tractor Emblem??
Here is a picture and a dxf file.
I would like the border and letters to be islands and standout.
A 3d file for a 1/8 bit would be good.
Any help would be appreciated.
Just a couple of ? ? ? ?
How big do you want the emblem to be. It seems to be only about 3/8" tall, is that right? ?
Also do you have a larger pic? The one you posted is very small, hard to convert it.

Sorry for the small emblem picture. I'll try to find a bigger one.
The actual emblem is 1.5 in tall and 10.5 in long.
The letters are .75 in tall.
I found a larger picture of the emblem.
I apprciate your help.
I took a few liberties with your request to make it come out where it looked right to me. You didn’t give a depth for the pockets, so I made them .100", and the material thickness of .250". These can both be changed if they don’t work for you. As for using an 1.8" end mill, I couldn’t make that work on such a full part, BUT a 3/32" works well. I am including both the NC program and the DXF, so that you can change things if you want. If you run the program as posted, make sure that the G and M codes in the program match what your machine uses. I use a fixture offset of G54, which is the lower left of your material. Both X and Y are + from there. Top of stock is Z0, and I did not cut that. Stock size is 1.92" X 10.8" minimum. The part should come out at 1.86" X 10.73" .
I hope this helps you out with your project.
Larry
P.S. Watch your feeds and speeds, I just went generic as you didn’t list the material.![]()

P.P.S. change the extention from TXT to NC, or what ever your machine needs, OK?
Many thanks Larry,
You can see from this information that you have a good understanding of what is needed, especially for a newbie.
I appreciate your assistance and help.

Thanks, I d/l the program. now just need some help getting started... has anyone used inkscape. also i burned a seahorse this morning, it is one of the "puzzle" ones that you have to put together, and i was wondering if anyone has a picture of one put together?
I've been doing this for many years now, and have made many signs of this type. I'm glad that I could help with your project. Being retired now makes it easer to find the time to help others and perhaps teach the process behind making these types of projects. I still have a CNC and run it every week making Shadow Art pieces for my hobby/business.
If ever I can be of assistance, please feel free to ask. I know that there are many on this board that will be glad to help out with most any request.
