For customers who would like to enhance their existing library of 2D graphics with 3D graphics, TDM now offers a simple solution: convert 2D DXF graphics for existing items or tool assemblies. First, the TDM Contour Generator creates a contour for the tool. This contour is then revolved by the TDM Revolve Generator. As a result, you get a simulation-ready 3D graphic in STEP format, which can be read by many common CAM and simulation systems.
