What expectations do you have of umati, what do you expect from the partnership?
We expect the partnership with umati to ease and streamline the communication between the business applications and the machines. We also expect to create new partnerships and contacts in the engineering industry.
What advantages does umati offer your company and your customers?
Umati offers a harmonized communication with the machines simplifying our everyday work and helping us concentrate on major developments. Our customers will have the chance to change machines without having to worry about the compatibility of the drivers anymore. And most of all, the installation of a new machine will be done in one click instead of, sometimes, a few weeks. By joining umati, we also get the chance to be part of the future by sharing our knowledge with other companies.
How do you evaluate the expansion of the umati initiative to the entire mechanical engineering industry?
We think the umati initiative is very positive because it will create a common communication between all actors in the engineering industry and enable the market to grow stronger and faster. We hope that more and more companies will join us quickly as they realize the efficiency gains that this project brings to everyone.
