What expectations do you have of umati, what do you expect from the partnership?
We have great expectations in this new business relationship; we firmly believe that it brings opportunities to improve and enhance the interchange of information with machines and systems in the future. We are leading in the same direction as umati and we expect to present combined initiatives that will strengthen and reinforce the communication network for our customers.
What advantages does umati offer your company and your customers?
A future intelligent factory is not a faraway goal. Tecglass is already on its journey to providing their customers with all these resources to make it possible. Our digital printing line is fully computerised, being a partner of Umati will assure us to follow the right way for entering into an international network who is working in a common way of connecting machines.
How do you evaluate the expansion of the umati initiative to the entire mechanical engineering industry?
The expansion is going incredibly well, the homogenisation is great news for the industry and we feel that it is a wave that is spreading reasonably quickly. Industry 4.0 is a true reality and projects such as umati are the greatest news for establishing the future of Fourth Industrial Revolution.
