2 web seminars on March 5

We are offering two webinars on 5 March:
From 9:30 to 10:30, Paul Appel, ECO2GROW, will be providing information on direct procurement from solar or wind farms with long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs). This can be a way for medium-sized companies to adapt to the changing electricity market. The web seminar will focus on the PPA mechanism itself, the role of PPAs in sustainable electricity procurement strategies, implications for customers and current opportunities to use PPAs to reduce the electricity cost risk and achieve sustainability goals. Participation is free of charge and open to all. The seminar will be held in German. Click here to register.
The web seminar "Study on the geopolitics of hydrogen" is also on the agenda on 5 March from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. The speaker will be Dr Jacopo Maria Pepe, Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik. He will present three radical but plausible scenarios on the geopolitics of hydrogen: H2-reorganisation outlines a shift of power, industry and technology leadership to the East, H2-(in)dependence shows how a European solo effort with regard to hydrogen leads to new dependencies, and H2-imperialism describes the dystopia of a hydrogen turnaround dominated by hegemons and despots. Participation is limited to member companies, seminar language is German. Click here to register.
