Power-to-X for Applications - your P2X network
First German hydrogen atlas under creation - contribute now!
The Hydrogen Atlas of Germany is currently being developed under the direction of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Michael Sterner of the OTH Regensburg in cooperation with the VDMA and is funded by the BMBF. The inventory of all power-to-X plants as well as the value chains of green hydrogen in the individual regions are to be retrievable in each case up to date. Companies in the value chain can now enter their existing or planned plants in a questionnaire. In this way, you can help make the hydrogen economy in Germany more transparent and facilitate the identification of project partners and the initiation of joint projects. Find the questionnaire here (in German langiuage).
Prof. Michael Sterner sees enormous potential for the Hydrogen Atlas of Germany: "The Hydrogen Atlas offers the possibility to estimate potential, consumption, costs and emission reductions on a regional level. This provides them with a comprehensive instrument that facilitates the start of concrete technical planning". With a corresponding expansion of P2X plants, hydrogen could play a leading role in climate protection in many areas in the future; for example, for process heat in industry, for the production of raw materials for the chemical and steel industries, and for the production of synthetic fuels for ships, trains or aircraft.
