Germany is technologically at the forefront when it comes to hydrogen and power-to-X. It was therefore only logical to identify projects and plants along the value chain, including their potential, and to make the collected knowledge available in one place. Under the direction of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Michael Sterner of the OTH Regensburg, the Hydrogen Atlas of Germany has been produced in cooperation with the VDMA. It has recently been presented to the public.

The Hydrogen Atlas is a web app with an interactive map. Thanks to the interactive map, the inventory of all power-to-X plants in Germany and, in addition, the value chains of green hydrogen in the individual regions can be called up. In the future, downstream products will also be integrated and scenarios on Germany's climate neutrality and the importance of hydrogen will be stored.
